KARIM
First up, he's a decent footballer and he's shaping up to
be a serious barber. You'll spot him a mile off. He's tall.
Some people reckon you can see him from Wembley. You'll certainly see him at the Emirates. Imagine the love child of Ian Wright and Peter Crouch. With better hair. That's Karim.
JAE
It’s goodbye to painting and decorating for Jae and hello to barbering. It’s been the dream career change for this Islington boy who’s really relishing the camaraderie and banter of working behind the barber’s chair. Jae’s two great loves? His kids and Arsenal – probably in that order.
RICKY
Ricky has some very innovative ideas for his future barbering business. In the meantime, he’s absorbing all he needs to know from XO Barbers. A Man United fan – it’s a family thing – he gets a good daily workout keeping up with his massive dog. He’s good in the kitchen, too, and has mastered the fine art of Jollof Rice.
BENJI
General Manager
It was a conversation during a haircut that led to us hiring
our General Manager. Benji was the barber doing the cutting. He was also the manager at one of London's top barbershops.
Not any more. As well as managing the business, he's head trainer at our training barbershops in HMP Brixton and outside barbershop on Blackfriars Road.
G
Galatasaray-fan G was already adept at the iconic Turkish shave before he even set foot in XO Barbers. Now he spends his days honing his barbering skills and his spare time discovering more great anime series. He’s a big foodie and don’t even think of separating him from his dessert.
CARLA
Head Trainer
We sprang Carla from HMP Feltham where she was already a barbering trainer. (She's too modest to say it but she was singled out as 'exceptional' in the recent OFSTED report on Feltham). Carla has also owned her own salons in the past, but found her true reward helping guys cut themselves free from of the cycle of reoffending.
